Terms and Conditions
Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully, by placing an order with GL Tec you will agree to these terms. No contract exists for the sale of goods or services until the Company has accepted the customer's order. Title of goods will remain with GL Tec until such time as cleared payment is received.
Definitions:
The Company is GL Tec Ltd, trading as GL Tec which will be referred to as GL Tec, and or the Company. Us, our and we are to be used when making reference to GL Tec. The customer is the purchaser, retail or trade and will be referred to as the customer, your, and or you.
Terms of Contract
Purchase of goods from GL Tec Ltd either online or in our retail store is only permitted for persons 18 years or over. Orders taken via the Company website will be treated as an offer to purchase goods until such time as the Company verifies the order and has received cleared funds at which point the the Company will accept your order as a legally binding contract subject to these Terms and Conditions. The Company will acknowledge receipt of online orders by e-mail, this will not mean acceptance of your order which will be sent in a seperate e-mail. GL Tec Ltd will understand acceptance of these Terms and Conditions when a customer places an order via the Company website. Orders taken over the counter at our retail premises will accepted once price has been agreed and cleared payment received.
Warranty
The Company warrant that all goods and services will be free from defect for a period of 12 months from date of sales receipt. Any item sold by the Company that develops a fault within this period will be replaced or repaired. Goods sold are under a Return to Base Warranty, except for products that carry a manufacturer on-site warranty. Items sold with an on-site warranty that develop a fault must be reported to the manufacturer directly by the customer after 28 days from the date of sales receipt. Carriage costs returning goods to GL Tec are at the expense of the customer and not refundable by the Company.
Acceptance of Goods
GL Tec will understand that the customer has accepted the goods at the time that an offer of payment has been made at our retail counter and payment accepted by the Company with a sales receipt being issued to the customer. Acceptance of online orders will be when the customer has accepted and taken delivery of the goods from the couriers. Customers are advised to inspect their goods carefully before signing to accept goods from the courier. Any claims for damages to goods in transit will not be accepted by GL Tec if the customer signs to accept that the delivery is received in good condition. Customers are advised to sign that goods have "not been inspected" or to reject the goods should there be any indication of damage to the goods. Under Distance Selling Regulations customers have the right to cancel their order 7 working days from taking delivery of their order. Return of goods is at the customers expense and no refund of carriage charges will be made.
Compatibility
Due to the diversity of manufacturers and technologies GL Tec does not guarantee compatibility between the Company's products and any goods sold by other companies or individuals. GL Tec will not accept for return any item purchased that is unwanted by the customer on the grounds of compatibility. The Company may consider accepting an unwanted item within 28 days of purchase subject to a restock fee of 20%.
Currency & Prices
All prices are in UK Sterling and subject to VAT at the standard rate. All prices are subject to change without notice.
Products Descriptions & Images
All descriptions and images are for illustration and information purposes only. GL Tec does not guarantee any specifications or performance. Carriage Carriage fees are not included in any published prices. Carriage charges apply to Great Britain mainland only. Extra charges will be levied to residents of Northern Ireland, The Republic of Ireland, the Shetland Isles, The Isle of Man and all other offshore regions of the UK not mentioned herein.
Returns Policy
It is our policy to offer and maintain a high level of customer service. Any item purchased from the Company which develops a fault within the warranty period will be replaced or repaired within 28 days of a Returns Merchandise Authority being raised subject to stock availability. If any item returned is subsequently discontinued an alternative of equivalent specification will be offered. If this is rejected by the customer a credit note to the value of the faulty item will be issued, or a partial refund offered dependant upon the time that the item has been in use.
To return any item please contact us either by telephone, or e-mail to request an RMA. This will be issued within 24hours from request. All items returned must be in stockable condition, complete with any software, manuals or cables that were supplied with the item. GL Tec will reject any item that is not returned complete. A brief description stating the suspected fault and the RMA number must be accompanied with the returned item. Any item returned without these details may result in the returns procedure being delayed until such details are provided by the customer. Any item returned to the Company that has been physically damaged, or altered beyond the manufacturers operating instructions (commonly known as overclocking) will be rejected.
Under the Return to Base Warranty carriage costs for returning faulty items are the responsibility of the customer, when returning any item it is the customers responsibilty to ensure adequate insurance cover it used should the item being returned be damaged or lost by the couriers. Returned items are to be sent using a courier service of the customers choice however GL Tec will not accept responsibility for any item sent to the Company that is not returned using a proof of delivery service. Goods must be sent adequately packaged to ensure that damage in transit is not sustained. Any claims for loss or damage to goods in transit are not accepted by the Company and are be made direct between the customer and the courier service employed.
When an item that has been returned to GL Tec that has been inspected\tested and found to be faulty according to the reported fault by the customer a replacement will be made available at our retail counter address of :

Customers will be notified that a replacement or repaired item is available and the customer should arrange to collect the item from our retail counter. Any goods purchased online will be returned to the customer at the Company expense using the same courier service method as used by the Company at the time of purchase.
The Company does not accept items for return that are purchased in error, or that are unwanted.
GL Tec will not accept for return any software sold once the software has been shipped for online purchases, or the customer has left the retail counter. Customers wishing to return goods for refund on the basis that the purchase was in error, or that the goods are not compatible or are no longer wanted may make a request in either direct in store, or by e-mail to the Company. The Company do not warrant that any refund will be given and any such concession is at the Companies discretion. Should any item be accepted for refund by GL Tec a restock fee of 20% will be payable. Any card handling fee charged at the time of purchase will not be refunded
